Student Session
There were 20 student presentations representing 13 of the 19 ATEPs in FWATA.
Thanks to Dr. Christopher Schmidt for designing and implementing the scoring system to allow us to evaluate the student presentation on a competitive standard. Thanks also to Jeff Roberts, Amanda Rice, and Joanna Engel along with Chris for conducting the judging.

Jennifer Wingert/Lacey Troth - Point Loma Nazarene Univ. - "Effects of a Functional Lower Extremity Rehabilitation Intervention on Patients with Medial Tibial and Patellofemoral Stress Syndromes." (These presenters received a perfect score of 24/24).
Case Study Category:
Brianne Bennett/Dan Sparks/Lucia Bui/Daniel Turner - San Diego State Univ. - "Surgical Options and Rehabilitation Techniques for Lisfranc Injuries."
New Technique/"Tips from the Field" Category:
Alicia Roth/Smadar Bezalel/Shalina Johnson - Cal. State Univ., Fullerton - "The Role of the Athletic Trainer in the Athlete's Five Stages of Grief."
Each presenter receives an award certificate and the ATEP receives a plaque.
